It retunes classes, you change earlier, all equipment has special bonuses, and you can choose the difficulty rating. That is what Sin of Mana is. So many people (like myself) praised Nintendo of America in the 90's, like they were perfectionists, but their translators were garbage for tons of games that came over. I'm fully aware of that. Part of the reason I like modern rereleases and fan-retranslations. Did not think of looking one for Secret of Mana though beforehand.
